Pill for everything..
After the Doctor gave me a new Blood pressure pills I did not want to get out of bed so I quit taking all my pills and felt better. Medication should make you feel better not worse.

Last week I ran into an old friend and we started to reminisce about running into each other at a certain bar in town, we were both at the pharmacy counter picking up our meds.

Doctors see their job as keeping you alive longer - that's objective, they can collect data, generate statistics, and "prove" they're doing a good job.
If you think your longer life is miserable, well that's subjective, something people can discuss and disagree about, and if you're old enough they'll dismiss your opinion as just a product of dementia so shut up. And keep paying for medical treatment.

MD = More Drugs!
Whatcha gonna do? My blood pressure meds keep my blood pressure down. The alternative? A stroke. My insulin keeps my glucose in check. The alternative? Lose a leg, kidneys, eyesight, or did. Each medication has a purpose and a result. I seem to get the feeling that people on this thread think that doctors push pills for the fun of it. Well, in some instances, if we'd ear right and exercise they wouldn't have to. Even then, age catches up to us and it becomes a necessity. Genetics creeps up.
That is Funny, he was always making huge Sandwiches !
