Finally! Some half-way warm and sunny weather! Took a quick ride over to the river and got a few shots of a tug and a bulk carrier. A couple of kayakers also. Better them then me. There are still ice chunks floating in the river. I watched the one kayaker for a while. She was so focused on something she was doing that she apparently didn't realize she was drifting into the middle of the channel with the freighter coming north. A half dozen blasts of the ship's horn took care of that! I was impressed with how fast she can paddle! I think the dog she had with her was threatening to mutiny!

Nice images! I used to live in NJ across from Manhattan and remember seeing all the traffic on that end of the Hudson. I regret never seeing the Hudson north of the Tappan Zee Bridge.
