Again, apologies for what appears to be a click bait type of post...something happened to my original, which posed the question on clicking on a link...
I reference a title that said "a couple of bald shots"
The pictures were exceptional shots of bald eagles from varying angles, and not of me when i dropped my beer at THAT Red Sox game ....
That post gets 700 views, while "my begonia" [as an example ] gets 4000 ???
Just wondrin' ???
Thanks,
steve
For me sometimes it's the title. Often it's the person who posted. Although I should be viewing others that I'm not familiar with and maybe add a new top photographer to my viewing list. I do peruse the 'Newest Pictures' regularly and open the ones that grab me.
I don't click the link if it appears that it might be a "bait" link.
If you are referring to here at UHH, interest in a subject with a well written title; sometimes curiosity.
Since I don't do birds and flowers, if the title is "cardinal" or "begonia", I skip it.
So, I would encourage Hoggers who post a link to introduce it with a well written title or, alternatively, with descriptive narrative.
