This is another from our Christmas return trip side trip series. I was able to get far enough away from the car that I “couldn’t hear” my wife calling me to get back in the car and go, so I made these six exposures before I “realized” she was talking to me. The interior was featured in the Robert Duvall movie titled The Apostle filmed in 1997, so the movie set spiff up was long gone and the door was locked. An outstanding feature of this building is the foundation stones, amazing engineering. The “character” of this church makes it one of my favorites...I hope you will enjoy it too.

Very nice series. You can almost hear all the conversations and gossip taking place out on the lawn after services are over.
Your images do look a little underexposed on my monitor, though.
I’m sure many memories were made there !💕😊👍

Thanks SalvageDiver. These were shot on a heavily overcast day...which is easy enough to fix but I have to admit it’s hard for me to visualize what I didn’t see...if that makes any sense. Thanks for having a look and leaving a constructive comment
What a beautiful old building! Lots of character and interesting textures. I like the rendering - the dull, diffuse overcast lighting seems very appropriate. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful set, #2 is my fav.
