I was sitting on the bed this morning chatting with my wife as she was getting ready for choir practice, and she asked me to help her with her necklace. I commented that I didn't remember seeing it before, and she said, "This old thing? I've had it a long time."
I guess I can get that d7000 now.

I used to work part time in a gun shop and we had one customer that had it down to a science. He would leave home with a piece of wood in a soft gun case. He would come in pick up his new gun, take the board out of the case and put in the gun. I don't know if his wife ever wised up or not.

My wife use to leave stuff at her mother's house that she bought and then bring it home and tell me it had been in a closet at mom's and I am just now bringing it over here so I can wear it.

How funny.. my daughter used to keep all the stuff she bought in the trunk of the car after shopping.. and when her husband was at work.. she would bring it inside..

I am going to brace myself and ask my wife if this behavior is genetic in nature. Take me or either of my male friends for example; when we buy something we are proud of it and want to show the world and brag about how great it is and how wonderfully it is going to work. It doesn't matter whether it is a new saw or an Ugly Stick, we want the world to know it is ours. If you see blood on a post of mine in the next few days you will know that I asked and should have kept my mouth shut. ;-)

If he hasn't been to the gun shop lately, she did!

I fly some R/C sailplanes that cost upwards of $2000 each. Whenever I order a new one, I make sure to get it with the same color scheme.

I came home with a new MC while my other half was in Europe, as soon as she got home she told me we were parting ways, and handed me her engagement ring.

Well.. you didnt need that OTHER half anyway.... it's better now than after she has taken ya for all she can get. Some women are like that... Sometimes, men can't see the heart of a woman... They tell them one thing.. but the man wants to believe it another way... Men are just not wise when it comes to women... they can con a man anytime.. Sometime, it's quite obvious.. other times.. it's not.

That's an idea. "Well, if you won't spend the money on yourself, I guess I'll use it!"
