Very workable, just have to get used to it.
Now if only the "baby sh** yellow" background would get changed. I don't know about anyone else but for me it affects the way I see colors in the thumbnails, they all look a bit off. And not only does it take time to open images to see the colors but a lot of people don't use the download option.
Pssssst- Admin - hint, hint, wink, wink. Any plans to change the color?
And practicing for 4 weeks from today: how many have suggested you might try a different image for your ID. At least for that one day.

I was fine with the way it was. Sorry. Not sure why people feel the need to change things. And I could do without the yellow too.

I like it, the most used buttons seem larger and better defined, easier to tap.

I'm used to the yellow. #ECEBC9, which translates to red 236, green 235, and blue 201. I used it to fill my avatar so it's not a square blob. If they change the background I'll have to change my avatar. Not a big deal but I might not notice it for a while if I'm busy and I'll have a big ugly yellow blob around the nice hummingbird moth.

I think that the new CSS is better, but agree that for a photographic site, a neutral grey might be more appropriate as a background colour, at least for the area where the images are displayed...

If you tap a thumbnail the background changes to black. Linda mentioned that ... years ago.
