This guy needs to hurry if he expects to get to Mexico before winter sets in.
I know entomologist who place chrysalis in the fridge, so they "Winter-over" without freezing outside. They are then returned to outdoors in the Spring. I am not familiar if this works for Monarchs, but a late migration start to Mexico is most likely fatal.
