A big unknown in the US... Michèle Mouton. Oh just remembered, Raymond Barre, he was the 'depute maire de Lyon' at the time and became prime minister under Giscard...

She was not happy about it. It was after a long night of racing. I do not recall the exact race. La Roquette?

Might be a toss up, Harry Bellafonte or Hillary Clinton

Maybe someone else more famous. It’s just work. I don’t remember everybody, so those two might be most well known ... or not. Maybe Michael Douglas ? I’m no judge of fame, so I tend to usually forget a lotta names.

Back in the day, I lived three blocks away from Fillmore East, a ticket, a set of Pro Nikon gear and Nikon bag usually got me into the Pit. Famous, Loud, I suspect my hearing issues go all the way back to that day. Ears would ring for days. Somewhere there are still negatives. Names - long gone.

Fillmore East? Is that in Chicago? I know of a Fillmore St. in Denver, but I'm sure that isn't what you are talking about.

There were two Fillmores back in the '60's - great Rock Music Venues. West in San Fran, East in NYC East Village. Damn near everyone famous in the day played one or both through the mid late '60's. Must be getting old and making the "everyone will know" mistake. Sorry! .

I bet Ian and Syvia Tyson played at the one in the East Village. Two of my favorites. And Bob Dylan was of that time, too.

I am still a Dylan fan (on vinyl) but I can't recall seeing anyone at Fillmore East who wasn't LOUD. Had forgot Ian & Sylvia, will revisit their music, thanks! Canadian or am I misremembering?
