The weather changed, we had light snow overnight and the sun came out. I revisited some of the locations I shot before in the grey overcast.
For fun, I tried Photolemur on the first two (and reduced the effect 50%), the rest were lightly processed in ON1.

Nice winter images! After weeks of gray skies and a monotone landscape the sunlight breaking through the thinning clouds is a real mood lifter!

Nice work, Ourspolair. I think I'll put my jacket on now.

The lone trees are my favorites.
Nice set. It's starting to look like Spring down here.

Yes, the light at the end of the 93-million-mile tunnel! Thanks for looking in and for the positive vibes.

Thanks for looking in and for the positive vibe. We might start to see crocuses in a couple of weeks. We are past the meteorological Spring now, but don't expect much up here until we pass the astronomical one.
Very nice work! I may call on you for a7c tips, I am just beginning today.
Have fun! You will find the menu a challenge if you have not used a Sony before. Be sure to set up the preferences in the dial-in memory locations. I have one set for using the flash, (not Sony compatible), so that the Live View Display setting effect is "Off" and I see the wide-open aperture view, and the Silent Shooting mode is set to "Off", else the shutter does not fire the flash.
Mostly for the other settings I use "silent shooting". If you are shooting fast-moving subjects, you will get distortion is you use the "silent shooting" mode.
Feel free to PM me, and we can set up a Skype meeting if you would like. Take care and enjoy!
Thanks for looking in and for the positive vibes.
A fantastic, beautiful set Ours, I like practically all of them, except #9: like the mood here on the ground the those blue clouds give me the blues .... but very well done!

Aha! I guess that's what happens when one turns one's back on the Sun. 'Twas very blue. Thanks for looking in and for the positive vibes.
