Problem is, handsome though they are, they and dogs are arch enemies. They try to lure and tear up dogs. They are unmolested anywhere on the property except near the house. I much appreciate and enjoy wildlife, but love my dogs. End of case. I've never photographed a live one.

Every last one of these is pretty freakin' spectacular. But ultimately, there really ought to be to be one among them that genuinely says what it is you really intend to say.

'Sequences' are absolutely fine --and they're certainly not outside the box as regards the presentation of a series of moments that 'were'-- but we (okay, I) see similar 'sequences' all too often, and I can't help thinking/believing that the presenter/poster is somehow not able to center in on a single 'statement.'

I do NOT mean to be critical. But I do mean to suggest....
Every last one of these is pretty freakin' spectac... (show quote)

Cany raises an important point about sequence photography. To me a sequence suggests photos taken in burst mode. Perhaps a bird landing on a still lake. If I were to present a sequence of that scene, I would want three photos. The first photo would be the bird in flight just before touching the lake, then the birds feet when they first contact the lake and finally the birds body when full contact is made with the lake. That would constitute my sequence. I think by definition a photo sequence requires multiple photos. To take one photo from the sequence, would tell an incomplete story to me. However, the images of the coyote above are not a sequence. To me, the coyote photos are a series of photos taken at different times with different poses and each photo stands on its own. I particularly like the photos where the coyote is looking at the camera and I think Photolady has selected the best pose and put it first in her series. With that said, I am grateful that she included other poses in the series because as Rod Stewart famously said, "Every picture tells a story don't it."

Yes, there will be more as he was very cooperative in posing and I just really enjoyed the fresh snow and grass.

Downloads show more detail, I could crop more, but sort of liked the setting.

Outstanding set.

I'm amazed at how fat (or should I say healthy) he is. Ours are so much more scrawny.

I understand wild animals and domestic ones don’t always mix, or more often don’t. Just like hawks, eagles & owls will take small dogs and cats that are not supervised. I think monkeys are creepy, but I still photographed them in Africa.
