You don't see a lot of unsymmetrical architecture in rural churches that makes this one stand out for sure.

I think it has something to do with the double entrance doors to segregate men from women and children. Since I’ve been searching for HRC’s I’ve photographed a few variations of double turrets but always with double entrances. I wish I knew more about this segregation custom, what the thinking was based on. It seems to have went out of vogue in churches built after the civil war. Thanks for having a look

Are the towers belfries? It is definitely interesting architecture, well portrayed in #4 and #6.

Thank you Ourspolair. I don’t know if both towers house bells...my guess is the taller is a belfry for sure.
