Nice Job. I spend loads of time in the big woods where this "Wood Cock" or Pileated woodpeckers are now quite common. They piont out what trees are full of bugs and chop away like a beaver. They sound like a jungle bird when they call to each other and like all woodpeckers SWOOP up and down when they fly. Imagine this, The now thought to be totally extinct Ivory Billed woodpecker was about 21" tall and the guy you photographed is crow sized at about 17". I love to see these guys and you got two rare Staying in one place, shots..! OneOwl
