Thank you, Joe...these photos were taken by dawns first, brisk light and my fingers were aware of this!!

Very interesting. It doesn't take much to imagine people living in that cabin. What life must have been like back then.

I always wonder about their existence too, Bob and know it could not have been easy or all that comfortable...pass the bedpan!!

Another "Find" in the wilderness Jim, I am intrigued by that off-plumb window and like the texture in #4.

Thanks, Joe. Think old age and sagging contributed to the window...along with questionable construction skills!!

But starting to sag and crumble upon closer inspection. If they don't have running water, indoor plumbing and cable TV, no one seems to stop by for a visit.

Nice set Jim. One of these days I'm coming out to your neck of the woods

Some 30 years ago I had a friend that built a new home on his ranch just west of Fort Worth. He bought four of these cabins, disassembled them and moved to his ranch and set them down inside the structure when they became bedrooms. It is fantastic. Expensive, yes. But one of a kind and wonderful. Kinda like him.

Nice shots as usual Jederick. I spent the first nine months of my life in a log cabin and the next eighteen years in a house with no indoor plumbing.
