Beautiful. There was a poster out some years ago. The photo was taken from the air and looking at a B-52 head on. The caption... B-52 someone over 30 you can trust. --Bob

I have a pic from Oshkosh a few years back of a B-1, B-2 and a B-52 flying in formation. My dad worked on some ECM for the B-1 when he worked at Northrop.
I took this at this years Superbowl, from my yard.

Back in the 60s I lived near Pease AFB. One night we were at a nearby drive-in theater when they scrambled all of their B-52s and KC-135 tankers. Had to shut the movie down for a half hour because of the thunderous noise. At least the snack bar did well.
Saw a lot of those during my nine years in the Air Force during the 60s and early 70s. A good friend was a co-pilot. We ran into each other overseas when he was flying missions over Vietnam.
Used to watch them take off from Guam in the early 70's. I was on a fast attack submarine in 1972 when we were diverted to search for crew that had been shot down over 'Nam and had gotten as far as the ocean before they had to bail. Found all of them, thankfully.
