White Lightning x1600 with a silver beauty dish positioned a couple of feet above the camera.
Black paper background. Canon 1D iii, Canon 70-200 2.8 at 150mm.
I absolutely love this photo of Jessica. I wish she didn't have the piercing in her nose.
Great shot! She is beautiful!
Nicely done. Beauty and youth great combination.

She is very pretty, and like you, I'm still trying to figure out the WHY of why they want to put something like that in their nose?
Hi Jim,
It's a lovely composition of a beautiful girl. Overall, it's well done. However, if you're looking for an honest critique then read more, if not, stop now :)
It could be in the image or what is seen on my screen but you have a few hot spots where if they were toned down a hair, I think would lead to an even more pleasing image. I see one on near the tip of her nose, on her chin, her lip, her hair and in her ear. They aren't real obvious but if you look on a historgram, I'll bet your whites are over done some. The pin sharp in the eyes are great. I wouldn't touch them but double check for the other hot spots. Tone them back and I think you will find it will make this one stand out even more. If they are there, you will notice them once you print the image. Overall, though, a winner for sure.
Mike
What the heck, no Rembrant lighting? Beautiful work. If I was to guess, blue eyes.
