In January, Adobe Flash stopped working on my website, so I was forced to recreate it all over again. I had tried to use the commercial photo display sites, but that was not very good for me.
So, I downloaded WordPress and then Elementor Pro (cost $50) and off I went. Ha! Stumbling all over the place...
But I persevered for over a month and now I can throw a new page up, write a little blurb about that page, and populate it with 15 or 20 photos and post it.
It populates the menu automatically. Now I have a dozen countries (and some cities) of my travels, and next I am putting up about 25 National Parks and Monuments. Each will have about 20 photos.
Then I move on to cruises and other types of travel such as in both of the motorhomes I have had in the past 15 years. I expect to have about 2 thousand photos in the end, just for enjoyment.
I would be interested in comments of what you all might think. The web site is on my profile, and I am not putting a link here or I will get in trouble with admin for posting links.
Thanks,
Dick
Dick, many Hoggers post a link to their web page, photo sharing site etc in their signature. Totally acceptable.

Adobe Flash has be deprecated and even Adobe recommended removal.
Seems to be a bit odd to have a web page that one cannot refer friends to. So, why have it at all unless you are under the witness protection program.

I don't understand your comment. How would you refer friends other than sending them an email inviting them to look. Thanks for your comment...

It
was there.
He must have removed it when he edited the one line.

Nice work! I like the fact you kept it simple and seem to have edited down to your best images.

Any chance you still have the link?
I don't.
A quick look is impressive. Thanks for the explanations.

Thanks for looking Burk. I know you are a pro so your comment means I am moving in the right direction...
I really do this for family, and not every (!!!) photo is great art, but just to say we were here and wish you were too.
D
What is surprising to me is that Adobe gave you almost 2 years notice that Flash was going away and you did nothing. If you had started right after the end-of-life announcement you would not have been rushed to make the switch.
