I do most of my photography when we travel but in this (2nd) year of Covid that is not possible so I am going through what's on my computer.
Bisby is an old mining town in southern Arizona. The mines are closed, the pit is not, and Bisby lives with the grim legacy of 100 years of exploitation.
It is a pretty town, built up the sides of the mountains around, selling its history.
I like my photographs to tell a story. The dog is wondering what the story is.
This was done with a Canon 7D and a 24-105 EF.
Post was done in Affinity Photo which I have just begun using and which looks very promising.

I love all the elements and the atmosphere, the "feel" of it. The coolest part is the unknown guy with the hat going out of the frame and the dog turning back giving him a look... Awesome. Like a Rorshach test
Very great image. I've only been there once, but its a very interesting town
Nice shot down the street in Bisbee, been there.

Thanks Joe. All the elements came together for me. Luck. What I don't understand is why some photographers have so much more luck than others.
