I like to try and shoot the sun at the exact moment it touches the water. It's hard to tell exactly when is the exact moment it seems to touch the water but I have a lot of fun guessing if it's right or not.

The exact moment? Listen closely for a "TSSSST" sound and watch for steam rising... I think it blew away in the breeze. No photos.

Photos didn't post but I fixed it.
If you are making efforts to get the exact moment the sun touches the horizon, google "green flash" and see what 30 seconds more might reveal.
I agree it is fun - as for the green flash - if it exists it is really rare.

Rare, probably. I don't have access to see a clean horizon very often where I live. I've been looking for the green flash for more than 30 yrs and have never seen one. But obviously it exists because they have images of it on the internet. Just a heads up if you want to look for it too.
It appears you captured it at the right moment! Thanks for sharing 😊
First of all fortunately the sun never touches the water, but you caught a nice sunset. The green flash does exist, but conditions do have to be just right and it usually lasts only a fraction of a second.

From what I see, you got it at the right moment.
