Wonder if anyone here has used the new Brian Hansel landscape graduated filter sold by Singh-Ray.

I like the concept but would like to see examples of flowers in the foreground with water or mountains in the background with sky.

Used to love Singh-Ray filters but haven't used this one. Looks very promising.

That's what I was thinking but, I already have a graduated and for $275 does it really enhance the photo THAT much? The difference is the center portion of the filter.

I've been pestering Brian for samples so, I'll keep pestering him.

Singh Ray are very high quality, VERY expensive filters.

Personally I stopped using graduated ND filters years ago, shortly after I stopped using film. I still keep a few of them (tho not Singh Ray), just in case I want to shoot some film. They are mostly gathering dust in the closet.

Shooting digital there are easier ways to achieve better results than were ever possible with filters.

Yes, Singh-Ray are expensive.

Are you referring to post processing when you say "easier ways to achieve better results"?

Sing Ray’s Blue and Gold filter is wonderful for landscape photography.
