Emerging from ten days of bitter cold into a much appreciated week long daytime thaw. Thought I'd snap a shot or two before and the same in a few days. Just for fun and something to do. #1 with D2x AF S Nikkor 18-140 3.5 5.6 G ED, Second with D810 AF Micro Nikkor 105 2.8 D

Thank you! At 2° F, I stepped out the front door, took two shots and back inside. Will be reasonably warm later, in theory.

I did same yesterday at 7am but 5 degrees and I really decided I didn't want to gut dressed for the cold.

Know how that goes. We had a couple of record cold days and nights for the years we've lived here minus in low mid double digits. Ex the dogs, there are several days where I wouldn't have ventured outside!
