We only had 5 dogs. Seemed a reasonable number. Then my dear hubby met someone at the local farm store with a frenchton puppy. My boss has a frenchie that comes to my office that I have long said is the "coolest dog on the planet", and we have 2 bostons. My husband says he loves Max the frenchie, but wouldn't want one. He came home from the farm store telling me that we NEED a frenchton. I know a lady in town who raises them, so I contacted her. She told me she had a litter but they were all spoken for. Probably end of this year, first of next year before another breeding. OK, fine, probably for the best. Then she called me a couple of weeks ago and told me that a couple of people had backed out, and she had a little brindle boy if we wanted to come meet him. We met him, and the little cutie had to come home with us. He's bulldog stubborn all the way, but he's an adorable little monster. 6 dogs, even number, sounds reasonable.

He is so cute!! So is he a Frenchie (French Bulldog) or a Boston terrier? When I was a kid, we always had a Boston or 2. They are so smart!! Have fun with your new pup! 6 definitely sounds reasonable, maybe even 7??
Hahaha, I’m glad there’s someone else out there that appreciates the addiction. My pack said 👍. What a cutie.

He's got a boston mom and frenchie dad. Funny that you would mention number 7.... When I originally talked to my friend she said she had a blue frenchie she was going to have a frenchton litter from late this year/early next year. We had planned to wait for one of those before we met Gator. While we were visiting she brought up the blue girl and my husband said OMG!!!! Umm....where would we be on the waiting list for one of hers??? So now we're 3rd in line for that litter. May or may not add to the herd, but shoot...several years ago I showed Alaskan Malamutes and did breed rescue as well. I always said I had "less than 30" because that's what my license was for. Most of the time it was true, but occasionally if I was housing for friends or had extra rescues it would creep over....
