Practicing. I have a flower and used remove background which worked very well (just practicing remember). I need to Transform tool to reduce the size and copy it into the background onto the photo I chose. This is a free background from Pexels. I cannot get either the transform tool or the copy tool to work. What am I doing wrong? I think the handles for the transform are hidden in the photo. How do I get to them?

I'm assuming you are using the background removal tool in Photoshop 2020 or 2021. When you use the tool it simply creates a layer mask to hide the background. If you want to use the transform tools on that masked layer you must convert it to a smart object first. I find it easier to bring in the background layer, use free transform on it, and move it behind the layer that I removed the background from.
