Bill, Great fireplace image when its 2 degrees outside here in Chicago. Is that a Jaguar on the mantel?

Very warming. Supposed to get to -11 tonight. Already -3 at 2000. Love the black panther (?).

Yes it is, sort of. The bottom right corner is a reflection of something that doesn't exist in the photo. The shot was taken at Sandy Stream Pond, Baxter State Park, Maine.

I'm not sure what it is. It was my mother's, and she called it a panther. They used to call these television lights. Since you weren't supposed to watch TV in a dark room, this sat on top and a light inside shone some light on the wall.And the eye lit up.

Thanks Barbara. I do believe its a panther. It's older than I am. I know my aunt's and uncles also had them which makes me think my grandmother gave the to everybody.

Thought so!!! Wonderful spot for shooting. Best when a moose is feeding. Long drive from Bar Harbor, though, especially at night.
