Razor wire and soft skin. And no models were harmed in the taking of this shot.

It seemed like an interesting idea at the time. A deserted factory in Detroit. A willing model.

The wire was over 6-8 feet in front of and behind her. She wasn't in danger unless you consider being naked and in the same room as razor wire dangerous. I adjusted the lighting in post to make it appear to compress the distances.

In hind sight, I think it was more dangerous than I thought.

Very edgy image. The model seems unconcerned, very Zen. Thanks for sharing.

I like how you cut straight to the point on your lighting adjustments. She's a lovely model with a well honed body. You have whetted our appetite for more. You've carved out a nice niche in this forum, and I'm on the edge of my chair waiting for more. :-)
Seriously - VERY well done!!

She's braver than I am, I wouldn't want to be in the same building as the razor wire. Well done!

Beautiful lady; ominous setting making her look caged by the razor wire. Enjoyed.

Nothing wrong with trying something new. Long time since I have been in Detroit, but have you posed some models at the old Train Station, or is it not even there now??

The shadows of the wire on her body say otherwise. Regardless of how it was done the result is superb. Nice job.

I also like that the model does not have as much defined shadow on her abdomen as in the previously posted shot.

Afterthought... you say the wire was 6-8 ft in front of and behind her; how did you get that much depth of field?

Good light, Art,
a beautiful, relaxed facial expression and body composition - that is if you can dismiss the wire ballast?
Happy shooting!

Good question. Two focus points combined into one shot. One on the model and background and one on the wire in front. Yes the wire was there. It would be very hard just selecting the wire by itself. It was hard enough blending two overall shots together.

Well, the effort was certainly worth it.

Great composition and great expression on the model's part (or should I say "parts"?).
