Keep in mind that naming, or calling a dog 'Moe' can be quite confusing to the dog when you need to tell him 'NO!'

I guess you could use "No" in some other language to train the pup.

The PD where I used to live got their K-9 dogs from a trainer who is from Germany - all his dogs only follow working commands in German. But for daily interaction they follow English. The use of the German commands tells the dogs it is working time. One K-9 Officer I knew had kids - his dog and the kids loved each other - the kids started learning German because of the dog and the one in HS went to the local Community College at night for German classes since the High School only had French and Spanish for foreign languages.

I just took a look at the puppy photos I posted to this new thread of mine and noticed that the pics attached do not appear sharp. In fact, they are tack sharp - do pics lose a lot of resolution when uploaded here?

Honestly, if the originals looked as soft as what appears here, I wouldn’t have posted or printed them. Am I doing something wrong?

You should click on "store original" before you click on Add Attachment. What we are seeing is 600px wide "thumbnails".
It takes a while to learn the ropes for the site.

Appreciate the tip. I actually did that just before your reply and it works, but that method creates a different problem. Uploading originals will allow a disreputable person from using an image without permission. I suppose I’ll have to watermark future photos I want to brag about. Thanks for taking the time

Ok - second attempt. 11 week old English cocker spaniel. English cockers are different from regular cocker spaniels. They are more like miniature English Springers.
