So right! But it puts a lot of pressure on you to come up to their expectations.

Reminds me of the closing soliloquy in the movie 'Marley and Me'

A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary?

I probably have seen that movie 12-13 times...many funny scenes and I have to watch it all the way through...just to hear that closing. If you've seen/heard it with the tonality of heartfelt empathy, you will never forget it.
