It’s a 12mp sensor, as was the iPhone11ProMax, but it is 47% larger, so there is commensurate increase in sensor size.
To capture max S:N ratio and max tonal spectrum I make sure to use the entire dynamic range by exposing as far as possible beyond the right (or exposing beyond the first “zebras”)
