A man has been charged with dangerous driving after being stopped in Dundee, Scotland with snow covering almost his entire front and rear windscreens. Police said it was "about the most extreme example of lack of preparation" that they had ever seen. Officers said the man had been driving with "practically zero-visibility" when stopped. The photographs were taken by the Police.

Too lazy to clean the snow off.
If he had crashed and died the death certificate could have said "Terminal Laziness Compounded by Terminal Stupidity".

Well, unless he tested positive for Covid - then it would be another Covid death...

Went to a lecture by the former medical examiner of Orange County Florida (Orlando area) on "how to correctly fill out a death certificate in Florida".

She advised us that, sadly, you cannot put as the cause of death "stupid". Sad, really...

Well, apparently he was one of these really important people who can't be bothered to take two minutes off of his busy life to clean his car so he doesn't kill any of the people who don't matter as much as he obviously does Like people turning in front of you from a side street when there is no traffic behind you for a mile just so you don't add a second onto the important trip they are engaging in Yeah

Several years ago an illegal lady in this area was driving with only a small hole cleared on her windshield and she struck an acquaintance of mine who was on a bicycle and knocked him in front of the Trax commuter train and he was killed. When the cops got to her home to arrest her she was packing the car and preparing to run for Mexico.

Several years ago we were taking a trip to D.C. and Williamsburg on Nov.11 when we encountered a surprise snow storm in Maryland that forced us to stop early for the night. The sights we encountered were so scary, a driver pushing his car up off an exit ramp with one foot on the gas pedal and the othe outside the door! Trailer trucks skidding off the road. No plows or salting trucks around, so as NE’ders we made our way easily to the nearest motel for the night as the owners quickly doubled the room costs! We cleaned the snow off our van before we went to bed while the occupants looked out their windows and laughed! It turned to ice and snow during the night and was a mess. We only had some ice on our windsields which we quickly removed by heating the van for a while, we then repacked the van and drove off to more horrors, people in cars only had a small square in the front and back windshields and they were driving at unacceptable speeds through the town where people were out shoveling small paths in the snow, and shopping in the foot of snow that had fallen! The state was totally unprepared to deal with the snow. We left that state as fast as we could, fortunately the snow only fell in DC and Maryland! The governor was off on vacation at a football game, but he had not provided for the needs of the state’s winter needs!

The company I worked for, had a Safety Supervisor who came into work with 10" of snow on the truck and a 6" square hole in front window to see. He drove 25 miles. Got on his case and told him he was setting a bad example. He looked at me with a HUH!! look.
