Has anyone read the Z5 manual by Thom Hogan? How was it?
No...but I have seen some excerpts somewhere...on his site maybe...and they seemed somewhat minimal but he does cover every choice on every menu. I would get Steve Perry’s AF and exposure books instead as they cover everything that isn’t really obvious in more detail than the excerpts I’ve seen. That said...I do like Thom’s site, articles, and opinions and read them regularly.
Thom's guides were outstanding for d700, d800 and d850. Given his comprehensive articles on the Z models I would predict more of the same.
I bought Thom's guide for the Nikon 810 and it contains almost 1000 pages. Very comprehensive!
Be well! Ed
