Does anyone here have experience using this product and are willing to share the good, bad & ugly? I have CS5.5 and I'm looking to rev up to something a bit newer primarily because the sw is misbehaving on high res monitors.

There's a 30 day free trial of the full version of their software at their website. Also watch the tutorials listed on their site. They're very helpful. I've just started to investigate this S/W.

I am a long time Exposure user and have worked extensively with Photoshop, Lightroom and other PP software. Exposure is my favorite by a long shot. In addition to the normal suite of tools, it is both powerful and easy to use. Best of all it comes with hundreds of preset “looks” mostly based on a wide variety of 35mm b&w and color films. DavidM’s advice is good; if you watch a couple of the short instructional videos and play around with Exposure I think you will see how good it is.

The tool set is similar in many respects to Adobe Lightroom and DXO PhotoLab Elite. Performance was adequate, and despite the claims, it is not a speed demon. I was very unimpressed by the quality of the sharpening tools. The contrast tools and the noise reduction were adequate but far from state-of-the-art. Most of the other features were pretty good. There is a lot to like about it. All in all it is good software and is sold at a reasonable price. However, Lightroom, PhotoLab Elite and Capture One Pro are superior products which will give you better results. X6 is an interesting product with a lot of potential and I look forward to reviewing future versions.
