One of the three brothers rescued as cubs in 2011 by Alaska Fish & Game when a poacher shot the mother. The poacher was caught and prosecuted. The Detroit Zoo was contacted and fortunately was able to accommodate the three of them. They arrived as 125 pounds of playful energy. Now full grown they are still quite playful.

Nice shot, lived in Wyoming for several years and was able to see them up close and personal.
