Trump has the worst representatives he could possibly have. If the presentation of the trial is the only thing taken into consideration there will be a 100% flip of the Republicans.

No matter how strong, or weak the presentation, the Republicans will not flip. Their jobs are on the line contingent upon continued support of Trump by their constituents.

True, but the same can be said of the Democrats and the backlash they would get if they v**ed for Trump. It’s too bad that no one in Washington can speak their conscience without fear of reprisals from their own party

It won't matter. This is the OJ Simpson trial all over again! 80% of the country knows he's guilty, but half of those don't care. They are busy watching superbowl highlights or The Kardashians (like that matters). The Grand Old Party loyalists will (again) put party before country and stand shoulder to shoulder, ignore all evidence, and acquit. Then they will crow about how the fought for justice and the american way...and somehow put God into their decision.

As I understand it, trump's legal team quit like 2 weeks ago or less. Trump wanted his defense to be about e******n f***d, not the constitutionality of the trial. The guys that showed up had just a week or two to change his mind and prep a defense.
Add to that the issue of after stiffing so many attorneys, what calibre of representation can the man get...
We will see how they do when it is their turn.

The defendant doesn't get to pick his legal defense...his lawyers do. That is what they are trained to do. He has a bachelor's in business. He is incapable of listening to reasoning.

What does "stiffing" the attorneys mean? Is this a crime he committed against defenseless attorneys?
