During a recent post on wide angle lenses, Gene Lugo and others recommended doing stitched panoramas instead.

I took most of these yesterday at Vines Park, Georgia.

I used a Nikon 70-300 AFP DX lens on a Nikon D5500 for the stitched panoramas, photos #1-4, 6-8. all hand held.

I used Photoshop Elements 2019 for the stitching.

I used the in camera panorama on a Panasonic LX10 for photo #10.

It was a pleasant surprise when the Great Blue Heron showed up today. The 70-300 worked fine to get the attached photos.

Love these. The GBH shots are really nice, the panoramas are seamless. Good job.

I will not make a comment on your panoramas since I don't know anything about the process/results so I'm not qualified to do so.
I have photographed Blue Herons and know your captures are worth

Really, really fine job! I have used both Lightroom and Autostitch to make panoramas, all hand-held. You did it very well.
