A local restaurant and bar had a dining patio they had set up on an adjacent plot where a neighboring building had burned down several years ago. During all but the Winter season, dining on the patio was a popular part of dining out at Crawdaddys. This photo was from the second floor deck that overlooked the patio. The pattern of the colorful umbrellas is what caught my eye, so I paused to snap this image before I descended the stairs to have an appetizer of crawfish and alligator bites nested on shredded lettuce with remoulade dip and a local brew. Unfortunately, an early morning kitchen fire a couple of months ago has closed Crawdaddys but we're hopeful they can repair the damage and reopen by Summer.

Nice pics. With a name like Crawdaddys it has to be good!
Thanks Bruce and John!
I’m hopeful the place will reopen sometime this spring or early summer.

Nice shots showing some great ambiance
Thanks, Joe. Yes, it has a nice upstairs bar with a very good selection of spirits and several local brews, and the creaky wood plank floors hint at the age of the building. With the rebuild going on, though, I'm not sure how much of that vintage vibe will remain.
