Had a pretty good outing at Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, Huntington Beach, despite the weather. Early morning fog that turned into a very bright white background haze. Therefore, I took the liberty of using sky replacement in Photo Shop. Shot with D-500 w/80-400 hand held. Best viewed on download. Thanks for viewing.

We've got the turkey vultures here but not that kite that is simply gorgeous ! Great job with the sky replacement, I would not have known as it looks perfectly natural. I use Luminar AI and use my own cloud shots. Great composition, Don!

Thanks for viewing and your kind comments. I find sky replacement very intuitive and a number of "skies" to choose from. I'd like to figure out how to upload some of my own to make the photo a bit more meaningful.

The reason that I use Luminar AI is that it's very easy to upload your own skies. Frequently I find my own that will fit the capture. I never use the replacements that are generic with the Software....I dont know how easy it is to do on PS....
