We have a mating pair of bluebirds coming to our feeders, the male came by this afternoon when I had my Canon RP and new RF 600mm f11 lens out.
Very beautiful bird and capture
Nice shot. It seems like there is a little blur.
Nice shot, I've been good at attracting them to our yard and bluebird house over the years. Watching courting fights and secret rendezvous, they are fun to watch
Beautiful sharp Eastern bluebird
Beautiful bird. How do you like that lens?

I'm growing on it. It is different than the EF telephoto lenses I have. First, it's a fixed aperture @ f11 and that took some different planning on how to set up the camera for optimum use. Second, it has a pull out to use feature. The 'storage' mode you pull it into itself, 'operational' more you pull it out and lock it in place. Quite different, but I see the theory behind it, kept the cost down on both 'features'. It also has an 82mm filter size that does not really need to be that big since there is quite a large amount of unused space around the front element. Canon could easily made this an f8 lens with the size of the body. I have an 82 to 77 stepdown ring on it and can use my 77mm filters with no vignetting .
