I'm not a Hawk expert, but my Merlin app identified this as a Red-shouldered Hawk.

I meant to add this is a great capture

A lovely photo, but, having taken more than a few bird photos in similar circumstances, I've never managed to get the light to come from two different directions at the same time. A trick worth knowing!

That bird has an aura! It’s putting out its own light.
