hurricane season passed by this summer, without hitting florida. thank you god!! the weather people in miami predicted at least 10 hurricanes would hit us again this year.
obviously, they were wrong again. some heavy rains and wind.
i shot 35mm film for a very long time, upstairs in my house. black and white, only. bought my first digital kodak camera to learn, then i purchased a nikon D60 to get serious. the colors are so bright and no chemicals or trays. a quantum leap! i still have not figuered out how to use the image changing software, but, i will. jra

started taking photos in high school.......football games and basketball games...gotta be quick with the shutter button!!
digital is so much easier, yet more complicated than 35mm. i hope to learn more. i like to shoot urban landscapes and rural landscapes, mostly.

i hardly ever use my camera. i am stuck in a place that is not conducive to shooting photos. busy streets on both sides of my apt. the air pollution from all the cars makes me sick.
i can use some tips concerning digital photography. its like my computer, i only know the basics. JRA

Oh, so I am not the only one who finds the area hard to shoot in. I was in Argentina and loved shooting,,, no one minded,, would stop and smile or ham it up. varied homes and sidewalk changed every 50 feet!!!
Are you a member of TampaBay Camera Club? They meet this Friday at 7PM.. see www.mytbcc.com great group. $35/year. Just come by this Friday and see the photos and judging and critiques.
Directions on web site... 0.9 miles W of Daile Mabry little shopping center on left if going west. Go up stairs. So get there about 6:30-6:45 and follow the flow of people. Great friendly fun group,, some real pro people there to help.
