What a great shot! I love closeup deer photos. I noticed a small smudge in her right (photo left) ear. Is that something actually in her ear or is it from post processing? Not critical at all it’s an awesome shot....just curious. Thanks!

Thank you. There were branches covering the left side of the photo and over the ear, so I used part of the ear and looking at the other ear to help fill the missing parts. Do you mean the 'bump' at the top of the ear? There was a twig overlaying that area, I wasn't sure if that bump belonged.

Gotcha. No I was not referring to the bump. Great job covering the twigs. I need to learn how to do that!

I might have posted the original while you were typing. Photoshop patch tool with the 'content aware' dropdown, you can dial in a slider for 'color' and another for 'structure' to decide how much to draw on the source area and how much to preserve from the area being replaced.
