Very eye-catching! Can you talk about your decision to crop so closely? Many thanks.

I really like the subject matter and composition of the image. I am wondering if you might have considered some exposure compensation or a grad filter to add a bit more "substance" to the surrounding snow? I feel that the snow is somewhat over-exposed relative to the truck, and IMHO the image might have benefited from a bit more detail or contrast in the snow. I love pictures of old things (trucks, barns, houses, tractors, etc.) in the snow!

Linda, Thanks for your eye catching comment. My thought was to isolate the image from its not attractive things around it.

Tommy thanks for your comment and subject matter. I did not think of adding a bit more "substance" to the surrounding snow?. I will have to play with it in Lightroom.

Thanks Stan. I suspected there might be "not attractive" surroundings

I'm a little curious as to why the high-ish ISO and very high shutter speed... Seems like there was plenty of light, and while the f/5.6 aperture would help isolate the truck and much of the snow, had there been any additional clutter (which only minimally appears to be the case as a result of your crop), it would've been easy enough to remove. Not a criticism, really; just a question.

I was standing on the edge of a busy highway. Can feel the vibrations of the trucks passing me in my body. Hand held, very cold, no gloves so high shutter speed and ISO. The angle I was standing at had clutter.Could not change angle without stepping into 3 feet of snow with no boots. Wanted to do the image without any dealing in Photoshop or Lightroom
