Is there a way to get more than three exposures, per bracket settings?

I shoot Canon 5DMK2. I use C1 & C 2 with timer for my bracket exposures. This way I can get 5 pictures by switching to C2 for the second set.

Buy a 5D Mark III is one way.

I often prefer 5 brackets, which others here on the hog will knowledgably state that more than three is usually unnecessary.

I just grind thru the process as quickly and as gently as I can without jarring my tripod or camera. A solid tripod and a light hand are required.

I set up my 7D for the range of f/stops I want for my first three brackets, and then either quickly shoot two more on either side, or set up a second group of three brackets depending on how fast the subject may be changed or if it has movement.

I'm sure there is a better way (such as tethering the camera to a laptop), but I have not tried that yet.
I look forward to seeing what other Hedge Hoggers do!

I had read this post earlier and thought I had replied to you unless this is a second post.

I have a Canon 60D. I set up my bracket settings with the top wheel and take my three shots. Then with the Backwheel I SHIFT the same settings over to the - side, take three more shots and again with the Backwheel I SHIFT the settings the + side, taking the last three shots for a total of nine shots. The Backwheel SHIFTS everything over left or right.

My C1 & C2 presets do the something keeps me from moving the camera. I think Nikon may take more than three pictures.

I think I can get more on my 60D, but only with the C2, as you suggest. I generally do three with it as well as on my SX30IS:

For me: -1.5 M +1.5, where the camera does the camera meter setting, then darker, then lighter. One can choose to fire them with either one press of the shutter, or three separate trips. Display (you know this): -2..1..0..1..2

I don't always have the feature turned on. I guess there must be special occasions when you might want five. Maybe for HDR?

Just shoot in Manual and change the shutter speed as many times as you like....half above 0 and half below

Generally bracketing is done using f-stop increments.

Manually changing f-stops increments can work if the scene is not changing and the camera is on a very steady tripod you you have a very gentle hand on the controls making the changes. Not always easy to do.

I've wanted to try remote tethering to a laptop as one solution (never have to touch the camera) but I have not taken the time to play with that to date. Has anyone else?

some cameras will bracket as many as 7 shots, however if your camera is limited, you can bracket manually and have all kinds of flexibility.

I believe the Nikon D300 and maybe others will do 9 shots.
