This morning just before sunrise I returned to an area to retrieve a hooded sweatshirt that I had dropped several days earlier. It was bitterly cold and windy but even so I covered the ground well but to no avail. This area is covered in Coyotes so my guess is that some den in the area is now snugger for my contribution. I usually put my Sony RX100 in my pocket whenever I go out so I fired off a few shots soon after the sun cleared the horizon.
I did do several enhancements, see if you can find them.

Dear Shootist....You added the moon to the shot to create interest.

Dear Shootist... you darkened the snow to bring out detail.
Nice photo. As far as coyotes using your sweatshirt for warmth in a den I think the human scent would stop any wild animal from using it as such unless it was very old and the scent had faded. One other thought is that wild animals do not normally associate the warmth of clothing the way humans do.

Dear Dennis...You are very savvy about the wilderness and wild animals. (Were you raised by wolves?)

Very close, actually there was a moon but I increased the size. I didn't have a long lens to help in that respect and the smallness of the moon was a distraction in my opinion. Thanks for stopping by.

I did consider brightening the snow because it seemed a little dark to me. After consideration I just left it the original brightness. What I did do was to clone out some footprints in the snow. They drew too much attention away from the elements I thought were most important. Right church, wrong pew. Glad you stopped by.

Very attractive.
Thank you so much. I have found it very difficult to get good daylight images in this particular area. My keeper rate is very low. I see so much beauty there but can't seem to capture it consistently. I guess that is why it is one of my favorite areas, it keeps me challenged.

Thanks for the input, my comment was half in jest. As an aside, as I got into my car and drove out I watched a magnificent Coyote dash off from near where I parked and run over the hill about 1/2 mile away. No doubt he or she was watching me as I searched for my sweatshirt.

Not that I know of. I hope not as I hope to shoot a wolf or a few this year. I would hate to shoot a relative.
