We get questions about how to put a camera into storage. Imagine what it's like to put a Boeing 777 into storage. After it's stored, it has to be maintained on a regular basis. Imagine what it's like to maintain hundreds of jetliners sitting in storage. This is a long video, but I found it fascinating

Being grounded was or is expensive for the airline industry with little income. Sadly, more mergers in the future.
That was fascinating. Thanks.
Very informative video. Most people would never think this task was so detailed.

Mark, our business flourished from the COVID-19 lockdowns in a way that most people don't realize could impact them.
The threat is microbial growth in what has become stagnant domestic water systems in commercial buildings. The water stays in the piping network throughout the building including the reservoirs of the drinking water fountains. The odor of stagnant spoiled water is one that will never be forgotten. The potable water systems need to be flushed and sanitized to be made safe for consumption.
When buildings are unoccupied for long periods of time, Property Managers most likely turn the cooling systems off or set to a much higher temperature in an effort to reduce the operating cost of a vacant building. Ventilation air, which contributes to a large amount of that operating expense, is also turned off or greatly reduced. The building becomes a petri dish for the growth of mold and humidity moisture damage.
