I recently moved from Nashville TN to Sacramento CA. I saw wild flowers along American river trail and do not remember seeing in the past. Thank you for your help in advance. Shang

Hard to tell based on the image and absence of leaves. Might be a jasmine.

My guess is paper-white daffodil (Narcissus)

Shang, I believe you have a Narcissus which is a paper-white daffodil. They are very attractive.

The diameter of the flower is about 2'' and the stems are 1-2 foot. Thank you. Shang

I think you who are saying paper white are correct, but doesn't that feature a tiny amount of yellow and red? Maybe hidden in this view......

Hard to tell, but I think 6-petals (or tepals). Perhaps a Brodea (or Brodiaea) in the, oddly, asparagus order. Looks like three stamens and three small petal-like staminodes, characteristic of the group. Most are shades of blue, but some white, too. Range (wild) is the west coast. Then, again, perhaps a Narcissus, more commonly a garden flower.
