Can it be possible for someone to be dumber than AOC?
In Texas, State Representative Terry Meza (D-Irving) has introduced HB196. Her bill would repeal the state's "castle doctrine." This doctrine allows a homeowner to use deadly force against an armed intruder who breaks into his home.
Now listen to what she has to say . . .
"I'm not saying that stealing is okay," Meza explained. "All I'm saying is that it doesn't warrant a death penalty. Thieves only carry weapons for self-protection and to provide the householder an incentive to cooperate. They just want to get their l**t and get away. When the resident tries to resist is when people get hurt. If only one side is armed fewer people will be k**led."
Meza was quick to reassure that her bill "would not totally prevent homeowners from defending themselves.
Under the new law, the homeowner's obligation is to flee the home at the first sign of intrusion. If fleeing is not possible he must cooperate with the intruder. But if violence breaks out it is the homeowner's responsibility to make sure no one gets hurt. The best way to achieve this is to use the minimum non-lethal force possible because intruders will be able to sue for any injuries they receive at the hands of the homeowner."
"In most instances, the thief needs the money more than the homeowner does," Meza reasoned. "The homeowner's insurance will reimburse their losses. On balance, the t***sfer of property is likely to lead to a more equitable distribution of wealth. If my bill can help make this t***sfer a peaceful one so much the better.”

Here is an individual that is only inches away from being a criminal himself. That kind of thinking is a sign of a severe lack of ability to distinguish right from wrong. He should not be a legislator of any kind.

I was referring to Ms. Meza's proposition. Ranks right up there with, "let them eat cake."

So what this supposed legislator is encouraging is legal armed robbery.
Sounds like time for a recall. Certainly Ms. Meza has forsaken her oath of office. Impeach! Impeach!

You, my BFF, are saying that you agree with the Texas politician in the article that homeowners, actually everyone should just allow criminals to take wh**ever they want with no repercussions, no arrests, no protection FOR homeowners and so on so that those among us who are bent on criminal and violent behavior will be sated and not harm us. Of course the upside it would seem to you and your Left Wing cowards is that those who are too lazy to work will have their demands met while the rest of us will have to keep working to replace wh**ever these criminals have stolen. Sounds like you and that POS pussified Obama are of the same mindset.
On the other hand it sounds pretty much that it is you and this i***tic politician who are of ridiculous mindset and not me.

It is a She. Her idea has been around for quite some time now. I doubt it is still the same there now but Massachusetts used to have a law saying homeowners must not fight back to protect what is theirs but must retreat from the criminal as far as possible. Only when there is no more room to run would self protection be allowed. Pretty ridiculous to me and most people but not, apparently to this politician and to krackhead.

Thanks for posting. I had to look up, catamite. Interesting. I had never heard that word before. I bet Joe Biden has though, Jeffrey Epstein too.

I'm pretty sure your mirror is hiding someone dumber than AOC - check it out.
You really need to get someone to explain these things to you BEFORE you go trying to stir up trouble.
Claim
HB 196, proposed by Texas state Rep. Terry Meza, would repeal a legal principle known as the castle doctrine.
Rating - Mixture
What's True
Meza's bill would add a "duty to retreat" clause to laws pertaining to private citizens' use of deadly force when they are not on their own property. It would also remove robbery and aggravated robbery from crimes justifying deadly force when they occur in a location that is not that person's property.
What's False
The castle doctrine, a legal concept with its roots in English common law, usually refers to citizens' right to use deadly force on their own property without any duty to attempt a retreat. Meza's law does not add a duty to retreat clause for the use of force on your land or in your home.
From the Gun Owners Association in Texas:
The bill would give you a duty to retreat before using deadly force everywhere EXCEPT in your home.
Your quotes attributed to Terry Meza give misinformation about what the bill does.
You can read the bill yourself to find the t***h.
Instead of taking someone else’s clickbait word for what a bill does, read it for yourself.
