These are “street shots“ or portraits among of the Hmong villagers.
We were allowed to photograph the kids right in the school, interacting, shaking hands American style, sitting down at their desks, etc. I doubt if there’s a school here in the United States that would allow this. The kids were fabulous. We got such a lift from the hour that we spent with them.

Really great shots. It is wonderful that their are places where people can
meet and enjoy each other. 20 years ago we took an extended trip and
in China at the Great wall lots of great kids on a trip posed for me with the
biggest smiles and they were so friendly. Great tour. Stay safe.

Nice, interesting photos. Out of the city and into rural areas, foreign visitors are are often welcomed, just as you were.
