Do I need to subscribe to NLL if I use a MacBook Pro?
Thanks,

I prefer sophos. Free. Norton acts like a virus IMHO and slows down use.

I can't even delete from my computer.
I agree with rustfarmer...Norton is a too domineering presence in your system. Sophos Premium has worked to my satisfaction.

I will stop using Norton when my present subscription ends. I was just using the virus program and I made the mistake of allowing them to automatically renew. They upgraded me to the premium program without my permission or knowledge. What antivirus program would Y'all recommend?
Bitdefender gets good reviews. Personally, I use Norton.

Yes. I had Norton years and it slowed my pc by about 40%. Probably do the same to a Mac...

Yes, it did slow the computer many years back and I quit using Norton. I don't find the same performance hit with the later versions. In fact, PC Magazine rates Norton fairly high. You might want to take a look at their ratings.

Take it from a long time Mac guy...antivirus isn’t needed. Run your normal daily driver account as non admin (the first one created is an admin so create another admin one if you didn’t already, log out and in as the new admin, and demote your original account to non admin. Log out and back in as original account and when you do need to do something that needs admin...use the admin account name and password instead of the daily driver one.
Viruses are a non issue on macOS...but malware can get you depending on whether you visit a bad site. Get a copy of the free version of Malwarebytes and run it periodically...that’s all you need to do. None of the pay stuff from Norton or Symantec or anybody else is necessary.
