I've recently noticed a number of raptors in a nearby area, all seemed interested in a vacant dirt field. The field is inside a military base (Joint Forces Training Center, Los Alamitos) and adjacent to a public soccer field and dog park (from where I took my photos). This group of photos are of an American Kestrel who found a delightful snack and was eager to show his catch. The "original" sky was horrible to I decided to use PS's sky replacement. Shot with D500 w/80-400 lens hand held. Best viewed on download. Enjoy.

Beautiful set, Don! We had them pass through a couple of weeks ago. Colorful characters.

These are really fine shots. Stunning even. And a great opportunity to use the sky replacement tool, which seems to have worked pretty darn well.

Thank you sir...I am pleased with the sky replacement tool. Often I've lamented about poor sky quality. Hopefully, I can upload to PS some of my own sky shots. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

Beautiful shots.
I especially like the shots with the barbed wire. The rusty wire sets up a nice contrast to soft ( as in soft to touch) colorful bird
