That the continued presence of troops in our country's capital is not because of a current threat, of which there obviously is not one, but because of the unconstitutional agenda forth coming from the democrats which hold power in DC and the agenda which they are about force upon the American people and the potential violence it may cause as Americans reject the authoritarian mandates coming out of DC.

That is a pretty weird opinion.

Interesting speculation. Time will tell.

As I see it right now, the EOs being instigated are simply political and aimed at undoing Pres. Trump's 4 years in office. They don't necessarily use logic as a foundation.

He has opened a commission to study packing the court, how do you think that will go? A bill has been introduced in the Senate to make DC a state, will they not need a liberal SCOTUS for that to stand up to a constitutional challenge? Then you have the EO's many of which will be challenged in court, will he not need to pack the court to fully implement his agenda?

Democrats are dirty not to mention authoritarian in nature, they have a short window until the 2022 e******ns to exact this unchallenged power, if they are successful in k*****g the filibuster there will be nothing standing in their way and they will make change in this country that will justify the security needs they seem to imagine that they currently need in our country's capital.

Just what is wrong with making DC a state?

"Democrats" are authoritarian? Really? Do you mean like "Support me on everything I do or I will ruin your career"? That kind of authoritarian?

And of course, one would expect people like you to complain about doing away with the filibuster.... after all, up until recently, your type supported Moscow Mitch, the biggest obstructionist east of the Mississippi.

definition: an action such as a prolonged speech that obstructs progress in a legislative assembly while not technically contravening the required procedures.

Doesn't a filibuster contribute to WHY things don't get done in Washington?

Democrats don't walk lockstep the way your favorite party does. Only Trump can unite the Democratic party, and currently, he's not in charge of anything. May I suggest you go through some of your old posts? They were posts of someone who was deeply conservative. I disagreed with a great deal of what you used to post, but they didn't bring me to question if you had lost touch. My opinion isn't important to you, so I am asking you to explore where you were, how you got from there to here, and if you are really good with the changes. I expect you to disagree with me. I never expected you to be a "the sky is falling" kind of guy. Your posts are far from the most outlandish posted here. What makes them stand out is that they come from you. There are those here that when they post something from a distant planet don't surprise anyone. Until very recently I never thought of you as one of them.

Maybe we should keep the filibuster, but make the Senator actually stand on the senate floor and speak, like they used to. Republicans should be good with that. After all, they have they have Mike Lindell on there side.

Wouldn't be opposed to that but, the PURPOSE of the filibuster is why it should be abolished - just like the e*******l college.

Doing away with the filibuster would turn the Senate into a less democratic form of the House, there is a reason the Senate is known as the Upper Chamber, of course maybe you have never heard that, I suppose that there may be much you don't know about our government, it's history, and why it matters.

As far as making DC a state, first it is probably unconstitutional, secondly there is no rational reason for it other than a democrat power grab. I guess that it does not bother you that the democrats are currently working on turning our government and country onto their heads simply to further their power over the country's government.

You postulate so much. You prove so little. A great many of your posts these days sound panicked. I really don't get it. "The sky is falling" may not accurately describe where you are at, but it seems to fit better than anything else I can think of.

He is going through kool-aide withdrawal.

Being so wrong about trump is a real shock to his system.
