Another terrific series!!

WOW! Electric postcards, all of them! Powerful!
Thanks, Brent. I hope that you will share some of your NP shots, even if there is no surfing in, say, Death Valley. BTW, if you missed it, my first Post on this theme is here:

You certainly placed yourself in front of some great scenes.
Thank-you very much. I have been lucky. Grew-up in a family that almost never left the county we lived in. Couldn't wait to get out on-my-own and see America's wonders.

Congrats on an impressive set of beautiful photos.....I especially liked seeing places I have not yet visited, Badlands and Valley Forge.
Valley Forge ... come for the funnel cakes and soft pretzels, stay for the history.

Beautiful set of images.
Thanks, Vince. I know that the State Parks in NY could keep you busy shooting for a long time (I love Letchworth SP), but if you have visited some "Nationals", let us see your images.

Which NP is your favorite?
Kinda the reason I started this thread. When LEWHITE7747 asked that last week, I thought "Apples and Oranges". Certainly Great Smokey NP is nothing like Death Valley or Acadia or Glacier Bay, etc. My personal favorite changes by the day (disadvantage of old age, I guess).
I have enjoyed some Park visits but been disappointed by my image captures there. Other parks/places I "liked OK" but came home with, to me, Killer Shots.
Today I'm thinking Bryce Canyon NP because I arrived on a beautiful sunny day and left next morning in a snowstorm. Images almost look like 2 different locations ... a real "Twofer".

Fantastic work. Light and composition are really nice.
Thanks, "Rusty". I've seen images of our National Parks all my life and wished that I could "see those scenes in person." Trouble is, on a short visit, the Landscape photographer is so much at the mercy of Mother Nature's whim. So I have always been very respectful toward her in hopes that she might send me "Magical Light" for my short visits. Doesn't always work. "Y'pays yer money and y'takes yer chances."
Great series, #7 stands out above the rest.

In my advancing years I have been fortunate enough to travel to several of America's National Parks. This post is the second part to my thread about asking other Hogs to share with us their favorite/most pleasing images that they have taken in each National Park that they have visited. I like to think that even the most experienced and talented shooter can appreciate and learn from other photography lovers.
Cameraf4 ..., nice work on your series ...., I have attached “Some” of my Yosemite ....I have so many ..,
Pls download for best results .. , and thnx for looking ...
You have a nice collection cameraf4.
However, your number 4 image of Summit Lake was taken from the road to the summit of Mt. Evans, CO.
Rocky Mountain National Park is about 80 miles North of this Summit Lake. About a three-hour drive from Summit Lake.

Thanks, Earnest. My wife got a bit dizzy standing next to me overlooking the canyon.

Thanks, Doc. I really like your Yosemite images. I had a hard time with Yosemite, probably because I had seen such fantastic images of it all my life. I got a few shots there that I like but nothing at all like some of the iconic images we all know and love.

Bummer. I have this and more images of that lake on a CD that holds my images of RMNP. Guess it's tough for an "Eastern Dude" like me to keep straight all of the beauty one finds in Colorado. Dang! Reckon I'll have to go through my images again to pick one from RMNP. Thanks, Paul.
